Who doesn't like inspirational quotes? Those little clumps of clever words from prominent people. No, not me. I rather find all the nonsense these celebrities said in their days far more illuminating. "Heavier-than-air flying machines are impossible," famously proclaimed Lord Kelvin - one of the most preeminent physicists of his time - only to be proven utterly wrong by a couple of bicycle mechanics just a few years later. The real trick is never to let your ego outrun you.
