“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
Sometimes friends look at the photos I took and say, "This is not at all what it looked like." Yes, I tend to lean into postprocessing quite heavily. The camera does not see what we see: the image it captures is only a starting point. I try to show you what I remember, not just the colorful pixels.
